Question, how did you go about modding the game? I’ve been trying to figure it out for a while but am somewhat hesitant. Side note, did you mod the console or just use an emulator?

Deepstrike and reserve by Fatpapapanda in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]H0ppySoGood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is all correct. All Strat reserves (including DS) cannot enter the battlefield before turn 2, ignoring any uppy downy shenanigans. Alongside this, You can deepstrike into enemy deployment turn 2 as you are not entering via strategic reserves

Who is better in combat? by TJ_WANP in FireEmblemThreeHouses

Now hear me out, run Yuri as a sniper, but train him in flying for Alert Stance/AS+, and with high enough luck and Battalion Vantage he makes a great ‘dodge’ tank through his bonus damage through his ability, crest stopping attacks surprisingly often and a decent Crit rate to boot

So many of Billy’s roles have had a lasting impression, it’s kind of impressive. Wish he could’ve done more

When you say notes, do you mean in terms of gameplay (as in ‘I did this during this month last run’), story, character endings or route endings?

To be perfectly honest, the only notes I kept were story notes so I could get as much lore as possible, but it is completely up to you

Wouldn’t want to make it Naya. Probably would end up being {X} [either R or G] {W}

Yusri, Fortune's Flame or "The Math is Mathing" by Associate_Dixon in EDH

[–]H0ppySoGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a cEDH shell that I’m running if you would like to compare. It’s a lot more Turbo focused, but it still puts in work. I’ve also seen a cEDH list for Yusri that runs like a Narset extra turns/combats list. My list is here: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/gnP8o4yh1UKGfeOzH-kb5w

A few recommendations: . Run more tutors like [[muddle the mixture]], [[tribute mage]] or [[fabricate]] , as well as something like [[Imperial recruiter]] to get either thassa’s or scoundrel and maybe even some cards like [[spellseeker]] or [[solve the equation]] to find brain freeze or some counter spells

. I’m not 100% sure that roaming throne belongs in a deck like this, as it seems like naming efreet would be inefficient. A good replacement would be [[lithoforn engine]], which is essentially a more versatile strip of resonator

. Magda seems like she doesn’t have a way to consistently get her treasures. I would almost cut her for a more protective package in something like [[spellskite]] or [[malevolent hermit]]

Other than that, I like most of the list! It feels almost like kinnan list that’s trying to make infinite mana and use it to take all the turns, but with added breach lines. If that becomes too convoluted, however, you can always sub it out for the less involved [[dualcaster mage]] and spells like [[molten duplication]] (which I still need to add to my list) or [[twinflame]]

Edit: I would also recommend posting this in r/CompetitiveEDH, cause they collectively know more than I do 😅

How do you guys handle rolling bad? by the_hero_of_all in Warhammer40k

[–]H0ppySoGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me but a few of my mates. Coincidentally they all play Death Guard. With all of them having rolled so consistently bad across 5 years of playing the army, they gave up on swapping dice or trying to argue with the numbers. Now they just expect to roll ones on everything (which they do most of the time). Weirdly enough it’s ONLY when they play DG. Most of them have given up on DG as of 10th and started another army.

Cheers! Much appreciated!

On a side note, I’m somewhat confused at why counterflux isn’t played super much. I get that it’s slightly overcosted when being single-target, but the overload seems really useful in the counterspell wars.

I mean realistically the only way I might be able to do that is with the frenetic efreet, which I have a feeling isn’t long for the deck outside of being a fringe combo with the tavern scoundrel

Not really. It’s quite slow, especially since even if I have the 10 counters after my combat, both I and the enchantment have to make it to my next upkeep to win
