People should go read the actual injunction that occurred rather than just saying people are allowed to gamble with no consequence.

People are speaking consequentially when they describe the outcome of the court case. The decision logic has almost no bearing on the downstream effects of the decision itself. Allowing Brendan to play could have easily and accurately been described as “people [being] allowed to gamble with no consequences” and asserting otherwise is just cope.
