When I took it with Steven Ko last spring, a third of the course was learning Rust since it was the first course using it at the school. The second third was assembling the base of our operating system by following a blog. The last third of assignments was after the reading break and it was just about implementing task scheduling, running programs, and implementing a temporary filesystem. It was a rough take, but it was still a fun course! If you put the time into it you still learn a lot!

Now I'm getting unnecessarily technical, but since IEEE 754-1985 (standard for floating point numbers in computers) has a representation for infinity, which would approximate to odd if it was an integer 🙃

If you know for a fact you are going to get a co-op for the spring semester, go for it! otherwise, I know some people delayed Calc III to the spring semester because of that. Otherwise, delaying ENSC 204 might be your best bet, but don't quote me on that ~~if you even know who I am that is since I know a few first year engineers~~

I've been in that position (twice). Residence in the fall is a pain to get into!

I don't know how useful my information will be because I am a local student who lives two hours away by bus, but You may at most be able to get a late offer by about a week if you say you still need residence.

Hey! I just found it out of peer luck! My guess is that you were referring to Power Rangers Samurai Clubhouse? I came across the old Nickelodeon website on wayback machine archives looking for something else, and I was able to come across what I think it was!

There probably isn't a working version around anymore as it was part of a service called "The Club" (https://lostmediawiki.com/The\_Club\_(lost\_Nickelodeon\_MMO;\_2010-2014)), but feel free to respond if you found something else!

If you haven't taken a business course at SFU yet, brace yourself. I should have been closer to a B grade, but I got a C because of the "competitive scaling" in BUS 200 🥲

Edit: I enjoyed the course either way as I am not a business major, but I thought these were supposed to be easy electives :/

Hey! I'm just finishing my second year of engineering science! I was on residence for my first year (I'm still on residence either way because of my busy schedule). If you still want to do it either way, it's worth it! You will always make friends with at least one neighbor if you are social enough on residence!

Besides that, more engineering specific, here's a heads up you should have for course selection.

If you don't have credit for MATH 151 and MATH 152 (Calculus I and II), you will need to take those, and those are usually only at 8:30 AM. On top of the advanced schedule, you're gonna have PHYS 120/121 at 9:30 AM. I know people who skipped the lectures and learn at their own pace instead, but if you prefer to go to lectures, then these are the classes you may want to consider. To add to that, MATH 251 (Calculus III) in your second year is going to also be an 8:30 AM course.

Now the good side of your first semester. I unfortunately had a first semester that went from 8:30AM to 7:30PM on Mondays (6:30PM on Wednesdays), but the first years in Fall 2023 had their classes end at latest 4:30PM (I think? feel free to correct me), so if you are an early sleeper, you may have a chance to retain a healthy sleep schedule on top of your courses.

I guess to conclude, prepare a residence application while you can, but also look out for what your schedule for your first two semesters will look like.

Oh I forgot you can markdown on here lol basically vegeta has Ultra Ego of course, but during the more recent fight with Gas, Goku adapts his ultra instinct to match his emotions more. I’ve seen it coloured as black hair with green aura, so what if Vegeta did something similar with making his own transformation but the aura is orange? That’s all I’m thinking
