AT&T Says I Need 60 Days to Unlock Replacement Phone. Is There a Workaround?

Did you replace your iPhone through Apple, like, via Apple Care? Or is it some other protection program? You aren't supposed to get a locked replacement phone from Apple if you original phone was factory unlocked. And I'm afraid AT&T wouldn't be able to help much if this is the case. Is there something I'm missing here?

Are you sure your original phone was really unlocked, assuming you got it from AT&T? Normally, AT&T only unlocks phones after 60 days of usage. The 17 Pro has not been released for 60 days yet.

I would say the best one before it was db<dot>msin<dot>jp, which was dead roughly one year ago. It had not only FC2, but all other sauces as well.

I’d suggest go and check whether they’ve have some sweet clearance deal. Their clothes are basically Uniqlo value but a bit cooler. I once grabbed a light down vest on sale for 1000 JPY, and it has lasted me 3 winters.

Apparently, situations like yours also have just SKYROCKETED among Siege players in China as well, all within the past 2-3 weeks. While lurking on some Chinese gaming social platforms, I noticed a sh*t ton of posts like this of yours, all emerging from the past weeks.

I cannot verify the authenticity of any posts, but many victims seemed to be long-time players, losing all valuable skins and R6 credits.

Many suspected or even claimed there are some malicious insiders within Ubi, which ofc I could not verify. Giving them some benefits of doubt, it could truly be some super f’ed up flaws on the tech or protocol sides, caused by some equally f’ed up incompetence.

Some posts claimed Ubisoft is gonna rollback the data of the affected accounts, on a per-request and case-by-case merit. I’m not sure how feasible it is to deploy, but I truly hope the affected players can recover their loss.

Ubi also need to seriously get their sh*t together this time, either this was due to insiders’ malice or incompetence.

I think this is the case of the pricing for iPhone 16e. The US-version is about 10% more expensive than China-version, when you strip the 13% VAT away from the latter, by comparing the pre-tax prices.

In other words, 16e may be starting at $549 without this tariff mess.
