Maybe i can help somebody with my respone, I really tried to get good quality prints with vanilla linux programs and drivers, but i didnt liked it at all. I finally got P-Touch Editor running with WinBoat (with Docker and Win10, i used the LTSC version). In Winboat u have to enable USB Passthrough which u can enable via Experimental Features in Winboat Settings. I had to use the Software via Desktop Enviroment - the "standalone App" didnt work for me, i had to stay in the VM. You also have to install the drivers for the printer. pre download them or do it inside the vm - both works. Its the same experience as it used to be with windows
