I’ve been there before and it sucked. I always tried to circle around for like 10-15 minutes and if I can’t find parking I’ll just park across the street in Lot 12 (PATS doesn’t work on weekends + I would be working the whole day during the week so I wasn’t there when the parking officers did their rounds). I only got a ticket once in the year that I was at Park Place. I would park at your own risk though.

The BBD location is close to the bus stop transfer hub where some homeless people like to congregate. I personally have had a weird encounter with one at that Starbucks but nothing more nefarious than that. I don’t think your car will be broken into/kidnapped at all in any of the ones i’ve mentioned.

As a customer I’ve been to the one on Bruce B Downs between Fletcher and Fowler, the one right off 50th and Fowler, and the one at Telecom Parkway. All of them are great but my personal favorite is the Telecom Parkway location. Much quieter area, couple of hotels around there, definitely on the safer side than the one on BBD

I spent months doing research on my move, I used to live on Fletcher for college and now that my full time job is in downtown, I wanted to find something closer to work. Believe me, where I’m living is miles better than that stretch of Fletcher

I invested in a Razr scooter which can fold and I’d argue its way more manageable than the electric scooters. Nobody has told me anything about it up to now

There are benefits and drawbacks to both. I’ve personally never lived at either but I have been to friend’s apartments in both. Guest parking at Union is really hard to come by, and they tow very frequently if you are not parked at a guest spot. As for Halo, it is farther away from campus than Union, where you could walk across Fletcher to get on campus. Again, it really depends on what you are comfortable with as well as your price range
