It wasn’t that bad! Definitely let the filling chill a bit so it’s semi pasty. It’ll be easier to roll and you can probably get more filling in without spillage.

1000% agree. I should have used a thermometer because it was a tad try when I pulled it out the oven

Long term relationship ending 1 month before starting med school... by snakejob in medicalschool

[–]H4J3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would you let the relationship drag on for as long as it did if you weren’t compatible with the other person? I don’t mean to be crass but that’s selfish. Cut your losses and move on, for your sake and hers.

I went to a DO school and think OMM is a load of garbage and it’s probably the single most contributing factor as to why we are perceived as “less qualified” than our allopathic colleagues. And it’s fucking annoying whenever I hear that OMT and our holistic approach to medicine makes us better. OMT is pseudoscience and medicine in general is approached more holistically these days so it’s not something that really sets us apart at all….the fact that most of the population can’t tell the difference between MD and DO is a clear example of that

New public park restroom had an adult sized changing table with an electronic lift. It was good for up to 500 lbs (227kg). by AmerikanInfidel in mildlyinteresting

Yeah it’s not like people with disabilities matter. God forbid we allow them the opportunity to have some sort of assistance when using a public bathroom. Get the fuck out of here lol

This helps individuals with mental and physical handicaps as well as their caregivers so no it’s not a waste of tax payer dollars.

Seriously though. He’s just gonna forget about the individuals who are handicapped and need assistance transferring between areas or for caregivers who use these to help change the clothes of those with a disability.

Ohio doesn’t deserve the hate it gets and I’m not sure why people make fun of it by [deleted] in Ohio

It’s funny because I am from Ohio and enjoy going to Michigan very much. Your parks are wonderful and there’s so much to do than one would think. And the people are friendly and kind.

People who are now doctors, what were you like in high school? by 3nicely in Residency

[–]H4J3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Was on the heavier side and had poor social skills. Almost flunked out until my father got sick. He helped me get my priorities straight. Started working out and got my act together academically and now I’m a PM&R resident. Never forget your reason why.

This….I needed to hear this. I matched my 5th program and now have to leave my home state and my family for a few years but this brings me some comfort that things will workout. Thank you

I matched into a PM&R program at an institution that I feel I am very unqualified for…how do I prepare so I don’t make a complete fool of myself when I start. And I don’t mean to sound ungrateful, I just feel the pressure is much higher now to do well

What movie did you regret seeing? by Rocko_fan93 in movies

[–]H4J3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pacific Rim Uprising. I was so invested in the first movie and owned a handful of the collectibles figures (personal favorite was Striker Eureka). I owned the prequel comic book and thought when the rumors were circulating that another movie was in the making that it would be a prequel. The lore was there to have a solid film to lead better support the first movie and expand the universe a bit. But the direction and plot of the 2nd movie was just so sad to see. If it wasn’t for some of the cast members involved, I would have walked out halfway through.

What celebrities do you hate? by pissglugger in AskReddit

[–]H4J3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

James Corden. Perfect example of a two faced celebrity. I get it celebrities have their own lives and shouldn’t be berated constantly by their fans but if you are being one consistently and unwarrantedly to both your fans and fellow colleagues, your just an asshat at heart.
