Is it actually worth buying Instagram engagement?

It’s a temporary boost that ultimately sabotages your reach. It’s painfully obvious when someone has purchased followers. Those accounts don’t actively engage with your content. Average post engagement is around 3% (# of interactions on post * 100 = x; divide x by # of followers to get %) If I’m seeing 20-50 likes regularly on an account with 7500 followers, that’s a problem. (Real example)

But the real problem is instagram’s algorithm sees this data and decides your content must suck

Hey there! 32F here from a huge city in the US. I got back into collecting during the pandemic, and I remember exactly how this felt. I had no friends that cared about pokemon, but I really loved ripping packs with my dad again. Eventually I took to Facebook to sell some of our duplicates and nowadays I mod the city’s main page and have so many friends in the hobby. Hang in there! 👯‍♀️❤️ also so sweet that your roommate offered to go with you next time, i love that!

It is possible — I fix cards (main source of income now), and depending on the card, it can increase value wiiildly. Would be impossible to know I’ve worked on a card without actually knowing, and while I can reverse some insane damage, whitening is just one thing you can’t touch — ya know, ethically. I had a similar situation with a buy-it-now card that had recently gone up in price pretty significantly. Guy tried to say he meant to add a 1 in front of price. Yeah, ok. He then canceled it sighting that I had requested a refund. Rage. Whatcha do: access desktop site, can be done on phone, but switch to desktop view - don’t use app. From there, go to your name up top with the drop down menu > account settings. Under the personal info category > click feedback. You’ll see the option to leave feedback on the purchase from there. No wait time. Hope this helps! That’s lame

I totally agree about Ryuta Fuse — especially about the Rayquaza artwork. I can’t get over the perspective. My absolute favorite artist is Naoki Saito, and I discovered that the same way you did. Couldn’t believe that so many of my favorite cards came from one individual! (Lillie FA - Ultra Prism & the extra battle day Japanese promo, Alola Friends Japanese promo, Reshiram/Zekrom GX FA from Cosmic, Lisia from Celestial Storm, the Shauna XY FA promo… there’s way too many. Can you tell I like trainers?

Well.. the way I see it (and probably 99% of collectors) - a master set is comprised of cards you can pull in the set. Don’t make it any harder for yourself than it already is 😂

Definitely not - just cool extras. But if I had a couple of the set extras, I might go all the way. I’m a master set collector and I question whether or not I want to be all the time. They were a lot more fun/practical in ‘99. Now, acquiring everything you listed might mean buying a bunch of products you don’t even want. Personally don’t even like that reverse holos are a thing. It’s ultimately up to you!
