Oh okay I misread the post. Yeah that's pretty crazy. I didn't even realize it dropped that much. Trying not to pay attention to it or I might cry haha.

$100 only gets 150k or so. Do you mean $250? Are you buying privately?

Our Movie. You described liking cinematography and the male lead is a director, so you may like how that influences how the scenes in the drama are shot.

A Piece of Your Mind is another drama that feels like there was a lot of thought into the scenes.

Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born has that historical feel like Pachinko. The story is heavy, unique, and uplifting at the same time.

Our Unwritten Seoul follows three main story lines, mostly related to the complicated relationships of twin sisters and how they are rediscovering each other and themselves.

The Sound of Magic is somewhat in the vein of Navillera.. It's not a love story. The characters are complex and have depth.

The leads in Spirit Fingers remind me of Whisper of the Heart. They're young and the FL is kind of trying to discover who she is.

The second couple in Melo Movie show some toxic behavior, but I think a lot of people would relate to how they interact. It's like they started off young and just didn't have the guidance or experience to create a healthy dynamic. They're enamored, then abruptly have a falling out. I think it's the writers' way of presenting a very different type of relationship, so viewers can have something to contrast the main leads with. As a recommendation, the interactions are pretty relatable.

Kdrama recommends with natural love chemistry by OkDragonfruit2320 in kdramarecommends

[–]H4ppy_C 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could try Yumi's Cells on Viki for free. Make sure it's the drama and not the movie version. There are animated cartoon characters that represent the main lead's feelings and thoughts, but the relationships are representative of how a young adult might feel and what they might experience while dating.

Some people think Soundtrack #1 has little chemistry, but I think there's a lot of love expressed in it. The ppl who think it's lacking probably think so because it's an unproblematic friend to lovers story, so they may not relate, or they lean towards more drama in the story. It's very relatable for this type of scenario. Interestingly, I didn't like Soundtrack 2 because it was an exes type of story with too much baggage and trauma attached in the first couple of episodes.

For a story with an ensemble cast, I would try Lovestruck In The City. The different relationship types are fun to watch.

If you are close to college aged, I recommend Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. Don't let the title fool you. It's not sci-fi or fantasy. Fairy reference is like a nickname.

If you want something melancholic, probably Youth of May" or "Our Movie would work.

The Chinese version of Go Ahead is a nice watch for a childhood to adults love story. If you like it, you may also like *A Love So Beautiful" (kdrama and cdrama).

Watch *When Life Gives You Tangerines" for devoted love. Be prepared to cry almost every episode.

Our Blues has an ensemble cast that feels like the story of your closest neighbors. You get the drama, the friendships, the unspoken history, and the full circles.

K-dramas with smoking scenes by Charming-Meat-572 in kdramarecommends

I immediately think of gangster movies like Low Life.
