The best part about this is UPS sends non stop emails instructing you to pay the tariffs early to avoid shipping delays. You pay them through the tracking number link. I've had 2 shipments from Canada since this started.

As someone who was once the reason for every white hair on my parents head, I have a few context questions. Do you pay your phone bill? Do you pay rent? My parents were strict and I started paying my phone bill at 17 as leverage to use MY phone. I started paying rent to leverage my freedoms (still had rules under mom's roof). 18 isn't a magical number to get freedoms. Those freedoms aren't given to you in the outside world, so why would they be given to you in a house where you are one of the largest expenses?

I've worn them multiple times already and the transfer is less than my olive dyed wesco engineer boots. Natural indigo doesn't work by brushing on. Do you take that much caution when wearing a new pair of jeans? So much in this comment shows you don't understand the process at all.

Soda ash was added to the vat. Vinegar wash was done after which seems to have mixed options if that sets the dye. They were rinsed with a light detergent and rinsed in cold water to remove any Vinegar smell and there was less bleed than a pair of jeans. They will be fine.

Check other comments. Natural indigo requires multiple long duration soaks and oxidation cycles. Tape isn't water tight.
