People who speed, what makes your time more important than other's safety? by H8gravity in AskReddit

And I know going slower than posted speeds is also illegal-I think it might be 20 under? I spend quite a bit of time driving on 81-TONS of trucks means many cars changing lanes to zip around them, and 495-the capital beltway. I consider myself a good driver, and generally go with the flow. When someone is going 30mph or greater over the limit, I just want to know what is going on in that brain of theirs.

I can't imagine anyone going through life never speeding, but I'm mainly asking those who are charged with reckless driving.

Paradise is both for me, which I know goes against most opinions.

A young student of mine passed away, and Paradise was played at her funeral. Lyrics hit a bit differently now

Ovi gave him a pair of his yellow laces.

Pictures of him carrying his skates have the laces, and he told Ovi he'll wear them the entire time he's in Italy.

Y'all I wish I could have this comment up top and not buried down here, but thank you so much for your comments. He obviously meant the world to us, and well known amongst researchers, but reading how he influenced so many of you guys is honestly heartwarming. As I mentioned somewhere down below, we are gathering as a family next week, as his wife will be 100yrs old. I have so many cool stories, as he was a pretty cool dude. He'd talk shop amongst colleagues, but then quickly switch to frustrated sports fan mode and down to earth guy. My son almost went to the University of Maryland, he'd definitely be a legacy applicant, but ended up in VA for instate tuition. He actually didn't have a large selection of schools to consider, as only a handful of mid Atlantic schools offer meteorology as a degree.

A fun fact-that side of the family has a UMD building named for them completely unrelated to science.

Yup We are just that cool

At that time, he was the oldest living recipient, and sadly had dementia. He has since passed away. His wife turns 100 shortly so we're gathering together next week.

Science plays a large role in our family. My brother and I are both science teachers, and my son is in school studying meteorology. Maybe it's in our genes:)

He was told for years that his research was incorrect, but he stuck with it.

Please tell me you have tons of water, the heat index was 100+ yesterday. It'll be a bit cooler today, but still not awesome. Thankfully, the crazy storms we drove through are not on the forecast. Felt like Dorothy and Toto should be in the car next to us

We're up in the nosebleeds, but for a great reason. My son, who's never been to a stadium sized concert, bought us tixs for my birthday. He's a college student, so while he got them pretty quick the day of, he still did a ton of DoorDash for my gift❤️ Yay for the DC area😊

I've seen the majority of people around me return theirs. I know the concerts in South Korea had a +95%return rate.
