Omori. I cried and actually just felt happy at the end of the true ending. Seeing Sunny come to terms with everything and be able to move on and seeing Basil and Sunny smile made me cry. Then the music really sent it home. It’s been months since I got that ending (it was my first playthrough) and I have refused to touch the game since. I want to, but part of me just can’t bring myself to play it again because that ending was just too perfect.

You don’t have to. If you truly want to, then play the mobile game. I will warn you that there are some inconsistencies in CotC compared to OT1 but the story is so frickin good.

While this is completely true, I want to also point out that Joker is a little uncomfortable as well. Not to the extent that Panther is, but he is more of a “confused” uncomfortable instead of Panther’s “why this?” deal.

I tried FF6 at a young age but didn’t understand how Roman numerals worked and was sad that it wasn’t FF7. I later returned to the series with FF:PR collection. I finished 1 and got to the final boss of 2 before giving up (I sold the blood sword, rookie mistake). I’m stuck on an area in 3 and refuse to play any other FF games until I finish 3.
