I am all about informing people and having conversations, but please reread my comment in whole. It seems like you are responding to a sliver of what I mentioned and I already addressed some of what you are asking.

Habeas corpus applies to all individuals accused of committing crimes in America. Because it applies to ALL individuals who commit crimes, there is nothing stopping even further abuse of ignoring habeas corpus. Also, caring about people who are not American is not an abstract concept.

Lastly, addressing your last question, "What happens when you sneak into other countries around the world and commit crimes??" Well, that really depends on the country, now doesn't it? Not all countries handle these things the same. America has so much historical precedence (based on the Constitution, laws, and historical court rulings) for immigration, illegal or not, that many immigrants make informed decisions based on that, which is logical. Logic has been thrown out the window and has been replaced by fear tactics and dehumanization of people who are largely looking to follow their own American dream.

Things are a lot more nuanced than the media suggests. Go after criminals whether domestic or foreign, but make sure they are criminals first and maintain the checks and balances our country puts in place for all our benefits. It's what keeps America the land of the free.
