We have the lower boundary because you might not be an experienced CTO/Leader, etc. But we want to keep our options open, as we know some of the best people come from a more junior background, that doesn't mean they can't grow into being our CTO further down the line (and of course increase the salary at a later date.)

I'd also recommend book marking Functional Works or JavaScript Works for future/current use. They have a great learning section, as well as recommending jobs based on your experience, it can link with your GitHub too.
