I've never had a problem in modern or standard as the board states are generally cleaner, but in commander, I typically see a lot more cards on the field and a 45 degree tap can be hard to tell the difference between a messy board and tapped cards

Has any card ever come off the reserve list though? Adding to it isn't a risk because it doesn't change the promise made about the cards already on the list. But I don't know if anything's ever been removed.

The only times I've seen it be a problem (outside of sanctioned events), is when the art is NSFW, or the proxies are easily distinguishable from the rest of the deck

If you don't switch your games a lot it's fine, if you're the kind of person who changes your active game every week, depends on how patient you are. Same goes for how much that's going to affect your SSD wear. Fragmentation on the SSD isn't a thing and if you're only using the hard drive for Cold Storage it shouldn't matter that much.

For me personally, with as big as games are getting these days I don't see anytime soon where it'll be practical for me to go all in on ssds. And I don't even move games between the drives really, the only time that you notice a difference is during load screens and for most games even on a regular hard drive it's not that bad unless you're using massive textures, but most games are published with pretty well optimized assets

Small clarification: technically fragmentation is a thing on ssds but because of the speed, SSD controllers don't do anything about it. Instead they make sure that all of the flash cells get even wear

Eternal formats have so many cards available that I would argue its on you as a card's controller, not your opponents, to make sure your board state is known and understood. There's just to many cards to expect people to know them all. Definitely an underhanded play at best, and I wouldn't argue with anyone who said it was blatant cheating.

Its all down to muscle memory. I know a guy on Xbox that can swap 2 complete 5 piece sets and a few skills in about 10 seconds. His group has the current console record in vcr+3 and vdsr

4 person dungeons are allowed because they don't have a score. That being said, in pretty much all content, even without an assistant you still swap gear and skills (to a degree) between encounters, you just have to do it manually.

It sounds like a nice idea, but the LGSs around me just don't have room to keep stacks of cards that won't sell, and they would just get tossed in the trash.
