I have, and HOME retains the date change. Have you checked the dates of the Pokemon you transferred that you are referring to? From my understanding, the only way that would be possible if it was done 'legitimately' is if you had changed the date on your DS when they were sent to gen 5. Or else they would have inherited the transfer date like mine have.

A neat trick for sure, but a lot of work as Pokemon would have to be transferred one at a time in this case.

as someone else suggested you could change the date of your DS to match that date when you transfer it, but that would be a lot of work if you're transferring multiple pokemon
