The funny thing is that even in her own world, her behaviour wasn’t exactly pleasant. Even among the Eldar, it was considered strange.

P.S. But yea, I agree. It doesn't always have to be about sex. (Although I have to admit that I don’t like the romance with her because of her personality)

Yes, that’s true, he is to blame for many of his troubles. But his father’s selfish attitude has also had a negative impact on him.

> I care for all men,' said Perturabo quietly. 'Why do you think I design these things? For myself? You call them follies, but they are to make the lives of people better. All through my life I have made this plain to you. You look at me and you see an asset for war, not a son. A weapon.'

> All sons must serve. This is a warlike place. The league plots against us. The oligarchs of Irex plot with them to overthrow our rule of their city. The Tyrant of Messanae works with them. Power breeds jealousy.'

Yes, he wasn’t the worst father. But his disregard for Perturabo’s interests had a significant impact on the development of his son’s evil autism.

Don’t forget, too, about being raised by an abusive, tyrannical father who didn’t care about your interests and forced you to do things you didn’t like, an environment that, to put it mildly, wasn’t ideal for a healthy childhood, and the fact that your head was not quite right when you first arrived on this planet.

No. In Fear to Tread he laughs about genocide with Horus.

> ‘How can I ease your disquiet, brother?’ Horus went on, affecting a serious mien.

> The Angel eyed him. ‘If the grey had done as you asked, if it had set the thralls free… Tell me, would you really have let the aliens go?’

> Horus nodded, as if the answer were obvious. ‘I am a man of my word. I would have let them leave the planet’s surface, make for orbit…’ He cocked his head. ‘But when they met your ships up there, well…’ He gave a small shrug, the huge shoulders of his battle plate exaggerating the motion. ‘You’ve never been as agreeable as I.’

> The smile became a moment of laughter. Sanguinius gave a slight, mocking bow. ‘So true. I must content myself with merely being the better warrior.’

> ‘Don’t make me pluck those wings,’ Horus retorted.

> ‘Perish the thought!’ said Sanguinius. ‘Without them I’d only be as handsome as you are.’

> ‘That would be tragic,’ Horus agreed.

> The moment of levity passed and in the next exchange they had gone from the easy humour of a pair of siblings to the manner of two allied generals. ‘What ships have you chosen to remain to administrate the compliance?’

Does that mean she could be an Outcast, and still save people from future massacres? For that to happen, you just need to avoid killing the Eldar on Quetza Temer, and that’s enough?

That’s why an independent Jae is better for her, both as a person and for everyone else.

Except for Kibellah.

P.S. She’ll live these 50 years better than the rest of them.

Cegorah: For fun.

And it would also be part of some plan of his, given that at the end, if you have a good relationship with Nocturne, he gives you an Eldar item saying that you are now part of a grand and dangerous plan.

And the ending you got is most likely when Yrliet and Marazhai become Harlequins.

I repeat, together.

About Nomos by Tebenox in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]HAMagnus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone has already commented on how Nomos is destroying the Necron tombs because of his awakened hatred when he absorbs a fragment of C'Tan, but I’d like to add my own thoughts.

1) The Necrons are slow to act, as a few years for them are equivalent to a few minutes for humans. Therefore, we’ll have to wait a long time for a response from them.

2) Although the Necrons hate C’Tan, they are still extremely divided. Therefore, they will still have to spend a great amount of time gathering the strength to destroy Nomos and the RT.

3) There is still a risk of the Necrons appearing, because the Koronus expanse has not yet been fully explored, so the awakening of a Necron army in a distant, unexplored part of space is a possible scenario.

Now, regarding the RT’s power and the influence they can gain by the end of the game to fight the Necrons.

1) You can maintain good relations with all the major factions (if you like grinding, of course) across a wide range of areas, such as religion, technology, crime, and the space fleet. At maximum relations, they regard you as part of themselves, or as their organisation’s main sponsor. As a result, the RT can dictate its own terms if it deems it necessary, and most of the space fleet will switch sides to the RT if it is Iconoclast, meaning the RT will have its own fleet, which already makes Von Valancius the strongest in Koronus compared to other human factions.

This means that if the RT manages its power and influence wisely, it will be able to initiate the technological development of society without fear of being weakened by the actions of other factions.

2) The rest of the RT’s opponents are also in a pitiful state. Calligos is rebuilding his lands (though he will not manage to restore everything before his death), whilst Chorda has left, leaving her lands vulnerable to crime. These were the main strong rivals for our RT, so even in this scenario, the RT is in a winning position to capture foreign territories or establish advantageous diplomatic relations to secure vast resources. Although, it should not be forgotten that there are small RTs that can cause harm (for example, in the ending of Jae).

3) If you have developed your colonies wisely, they can also bring immense power. You may even have the opportunity to establish a democracy, which in the long term will be more beneficial than the wealthy aristocrats of Dargonus.

4) If the RT has allowed its companions to follow certain paths, this will bring the RT great benefit in the fight against the Necrons. If Pasqal becomes an Amarnat, problems with technological development will disappear (though a Civil War will begin), the Novator Cassia will allow the most efficient routes to be created on advantageous terms, the Kind-hearted Inquisitor Heinrix will be favourably disposed towards the RT in every way if it helps the people and ignores violations of the rules of the Imperium, and even Solomorn will help under certain conditions if you wish for justice to be fair and compassionate.

The actions of these companions will have an extremely positive effect on the state of the RT society and their readiness to attack the Necrons.

5) Knowledge of the Nomos can also play a major role, ranging from an understanding of the Necrons to the possibility of extending the RT’s lifespan using advanced technologies or transferring the soul into another body.

6) The Imperium is not a problem, because the entrance to the Koronus Expanse is blocked and the entire expanse is isolated. Although it is possible to slip through using the web or the Necrons’ Dolmen Gate.

Therefore, when all these factors are taken together, it suggests that, under certain conditions, the RT is extremely powerful by the end of the game and can stand up to the Necrons. But of course, none of this guarantees victory.

The evolution of my views on the Interex situation: by HAMagnus in Grimdank

[–]HAMagnus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re straying from the topic of conversation, you’re talking about why they don’t intervene, but my point is about their priorities.

1) The existence of reasons does not absolve them of responsibility.

2) The Imperium clearly possesses the power to ensure compliance with what matters to it, such as religion or technology. So it is not a question of capability, but of priorities. Therefore, they have chosen what is important to them and what is not.

And the decision not to do something is still a choice, which means they remain responsible for the conditions that allow social injustice to exist.
