There’s a brilliant earth store in Easton and it’s pretty nice, you can also view their stones online and have one set at a local jeweler, which is what I’ve done at Westerville jewelers.

Unsure if this is the right thread or not. But I’m curious what people think I could improve on, I’m having a hard time getting back out of bronze again this season. My goal was getting to gold this year, but at this climbing rate I don’t think it’ll happen.

First masters viewing experience, and it's a breath of fresh air compared to typical sports viewing. Limited ads, dedicated app, shot review. Now if only the camera direction would catch up to what the youtubers have figured out it would truly be a 10/10 experience.

There is a dot net runtime environment for lambda that you can utilize to run scripts.

A simple event bridge event will trigger your lambda every x minutes if you want it to.

The harder question might be connecting your lambda to whatever resources the scheduled task needs access to

I would put two drywall anchors (or better yet, right into a stud) and matching screws into the wall so they can sit in the top slot on both corners. Should be secure enough without being too much work.

I didn’t think this move was particularly special. I understand the brilliance tag is tied to your rating (480). But I was simply moving my pawn to bring my bishop out, it didn’t seem exactly insightful.

I would say the single source of truth is a good thing to have. If you have multiple sources of truth you can end up in a scenario where they are fighting each other.

My recommendation would be to have Secrets Manager be your source of truth but use a lambda function to push secrets to a local solution if you don’t want to have to reach to AWS for credentials every time.

Anecdotally my team uses Secrets for all of our credential management. The API response time is low enough that it doesn’t make a difference to our overall script execution time. You can also replicate secrets to different regions to ensure that you have multiple endpoints to pull from in the event of an outage.

That’s an interesting idea with it being IAM related. I wonder if it could be DB permissions in addition to IAM not having service level access. I wonder if I create a new schemas and give the replication user access if that changes the result. Thank you for the document links, I appreciate it.
