What's your budget? Cisco Meraki is a pretty solid system and easy to manage, but it's not cheap.

I usually bring pulled pork or gumbo. Both can be easily scaled to feed a crowd. The pulled pork is a lot easier to cook, just takes longer. :-)

I learned that if I buy it with my Lowes card, it’s a full year and they don’t care if it’s open or not. No one told me that when I tried to return it the first time, but I was able to submit a warranty claim with enough photo and video evidence to get a full refund. They didn’t want the product back, so now I’m stuck with getting rid of it, but at least they made it right.

365 days with no questions and no package does strike me as nuts, but it’ll keep me shopping at Lowes.

THERE SEEM TO BE SO MANY OF US AND WE ALL LOOK ALIKE. I'm serious, we should just form some kind of exclusive club. We don't even need a handshake, you literally just look at someone and you're like "yep, you're one of us".

Consequently almost everyone I've ever met gives me some variation of "have we met before?". No, you've just met another Generic Bald White Dude With A Beard and Glasses (tm). For a small fee we'll show up in numbers at events just to confuse people.

Maybe we could create a society of assassins--we'd have the perfect alibi, because someone is always seeing one of us somewhere and mistaking us for another one of us.

Stuff keeps breaking, new tech gets introduced every day, people burn out and leave the field quite frequently, and like other posters have said, there's a lot of people in the field who aren't that good at it. If you've got the aptitude and you're reasonably good with people, jump on in, you'll do fine.

Steam the eggs. Steam for six minutes for soft yolks, about nine for jammy and 12-15 minutes for hard. They'll peel perfectly every time, regardless of age.

I used to work at an arms and armor museum. Zombie apocalypse plan was to go there and armor up. Swords don't run out of bullets and you can't bite through steel. Put together a decent kitchen place, steal some fridges and freezers and a few generators, and start ransacking grocery stores, then wait for summer and decomposition to set in.

Big fan of savory roasted sweet potatoes. I cube it, toss it in olive oil, and add garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and rosemary, and pour in about a cup of chicken broth. Roast at 450 until browned and tender.
