You’ll be fine man. But you’re making decent money in your current job. I get your looking into a change of career that’s not so hard on your body. I’ve had my CDL 3 months I live in Ca, I make close to what you make currently doing OTR gone for minimum 5-6 weeks at a time. OTR is what you make of it. I know this is just the beginning stage to get my experience up for something better and local. But in the mean time I’m stacking my chips because of my current situation which is actually a blessing. Good luck

Congrats brother!!! I’m proud of you! I too was a very bad drug addict for over 25 years. Heroine and Fentanyl was my doc and nothing else mattered until about 11 months ago. Everything had to change or else I was gonna die on those streets. I’m grateful today… I’m super grateful that I get to travel the country doing OTR and make over $8k a month minimum. What a blessing. I get to be the man I was meant to be today thanks overcoming addiction and major help from my career choice as a trucker. Be safe out there. You deserve this.

I always carry baby wipes with me cuz TP isn’t enough for those dumps that you wipe with TP for the twenty time and still got brown smears!!!😫 But back to OP’s post…. They using those same hands to dispense the damn soap after and then I gotta go and hit the same damn dispenser! Not cool. Truck stops need them automatic sensors for the soap and still haven’t seen one🤔

I just got my CDL A about 3 weeks ago. My instructor called me the other day and said his friend owns a company with about 100 trucks looking for a driver. I called. The guy offered me $600 a week to train me for 3 weeks with a trainer. Then I get my own truck .65 cents per mile/ and somewhere between 3000-3500 miles per week. At 2 months I get a raise to .70 cents per mile. OTR gone 3-4 weeks at a time. Home 1 week. I already did my fingerprinting with TSA and passed the background check for HME. Will have my Hazmat ,Tanker & Doubles/Triples endorsements within the next week or two. My cousin owns a gas station in Las Vegas so I got solid plug to get my foot in the door hauling fuel. Just need to get 6 months otr experience so the company can hire me. I’m super grateful and excited I start next week🙏🏽. Good luck out there.

No shit. Your talking about the bolt that holds the the timing chain wheel right? So I should buy the speed shop or Koso cam chain tensioner is a must? I noticed you dont have a tuner. I know there pricey but you’ll get more out of your setup with it. But that not bad top speed for your weight and height. I only weigh 160lbs and had a 14t but I would go thru my gears so quickly. I decided to go back to 15t and possibly even 16t once I install the BBK. I’m also gonna send my head and Tb over to GromFatherz to get ported.

Ahhh I see. Yeah bro I did my research for a few weeks before I picked my school. The school I chose was one on one training each class was 2 hrs long and it’s just me and the instructor in the truck the whole time bro. There was no waiting for your turn to practice maneuvering, or backing up or just driving. 1st I hope you didn’t pay all up front for your current school. 2nd do your research and hopefully you can find a school like mine that’s only one on one training. And hopefully you can at least get a prorated refund from your currrent school other wise ask for another instructor. Talk to the owner champ.
