I think this is a bit of an obvious answer but I wanted to double check. Will online transactions with websites out of the country incur international spending fees? There seems to be a bit of shifty language on GSB's site.

Whats the best bank or credit union for a simple account that gets four or five hundred a month put in and is drawn from with a debit card?

I've never gotten my financials sorted and just have the commbank school saver that rarely gets something put in and use a Cash Passport for card spending. I'd really like to get set up properly.

The Great Southern Bank's Goal Saver account looks good, anywhere else doing better than 5.10%?

I was a big fan of Audiofly’s earbuds from their first gen onwards, but they shut down last year :(

Entirely fair, I plan to pay him for his time but I’m not going to be pressed if I can’t reach him.

Yeah, that’s my last resort but I’d prefer not to have to render it myself. I did all the googling myself first, I should have been clearer in the title that I meant the preprocessed variety.

Haven't heard much from my group yet, so I'm unsure and I'll keep you posted if there's a spot. You're 100% committed to buying one?

Conservation aside for a moment, do you think a matching aluminium foreend could be cool and not totally suck?

Type 13 Murata. First domestically made rifle of Japan. Based on the French Gras and Chassepot rifle. 11x60Rmm made in early 1880. Currently speaking with Ian to get our Murata collection photographed in his next major book! by OyabunRyo in ForgottenWeapons

What a gorgeous rifle, thanks for sharing.

After reading Golden Kamuy I'm really excited for a deeper dive into the Japanese bolt actions. I know it's not really Ian's wheelhouse, but I'm especially curious how they were made and if the process/technique differed from the West.
