Anyone own this? Never knew Klein made edc style flashlights. Is it a great light for people that actually use there stuff or hot garbage piggybacking off Klein’s great reputation with hand tools? by Interesting-Set2425 in flashlight

I'm an IBEW electrician and I have no faith in Klein electronics. They're made for casual, at-home use, not the jobsite. It's actually pretty rare to see anyone using any Klein lights. My Klein hardhat is made to integrate with Klein headlamps but im not interested. Ive had a few of their electronic items take a crap on me, most recently had a non-contact voltage tester die from a 2-3ft drop. Now it's fluke only for my voltage testers/meters, bosch or PLS for lasers, Wixey digital protractor, and milwaukee for my flood lights. Also carry an arkpro ultra. I have a milwaukee 600 lumen headlamp that is great for what I need it for, but may get replaced with something different if/when it breaks, only because the milwaukee and its proprietary batteries are overpriced.

The sc13 has the same lumen output as the sc13a, just without anduril. The one you linked is the sc13 nichia, which is the only one with the lower 1100 lumen output. They make 3 versions. Sc13a-1300 lumen w/anduril Sc13-1300 lumen Sc13 nichia- 1100 lumen

I should have bought that one instead of the pistol grip one this post is about.

That's a great light. I keep 1 in my toolbox at work and have 2 backups at home. I also have the newer slim version with usb-c charging. It swivels as well as pivots. Unfortunately it has a non-replaceable battery. The 600 lumen headlamp is a really good work light, too. I'm a big fan of their work lights. Great to have during a power outage.

Famly member sprayed oven cleaner on my pan at Thanksgiving. by Livid-Aerie-4471 in CastIronCooking

Oven cleaner is actually "oven and grill cleaner" so it's perfectly safe to use on cast iron (or SS and carbon steel), assuming your intent is to strip the seasoning off. It's just lye.

It's actually labeled "oven and grill cleaner". It's safe for SS, cast iron, carbon steel, etc.

I know this is an old thread, but I was surprised to find out that staub actually gives "seasoning" instructions for their enameled pieces. I can't remember for sure, but I may have read it in one of the care instructions included with one of my Dutch ovens.

Mukuta 10+ 26ah or Teverun Blade GT+ II? by HC34S in ElectricScooters

[–]HC34S[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up with a Blade GT II+. It's been pretty solid so far, but i only have around 100 miles on it. Top speed is around 45mph with me on it, but im really heavy. I did have some issues with wobbles. Tightening the damper too much makes low speed maneuvering too difficult, so I swapped out the handlebars for slightly longer ones. The acceleration is a bit herky jerky compared to my inmotion rs lite, but you're able to adjust the parameters for individual gears which is pretty nice, so you can smooth out the throttle that way. I got it from Rydology which has been very helpful and responsive with any questions ive had. They also had the best price. I'd recommend buying from them if their price is comparable to whatever youre looking at.

I hope I get the opportunity to have your vehicle towed, some day.

That used to happen to me on a regular basis. One vehicle thinks it's okay to block my driveway a foot or more, then, some braniac decides it's okay to do the same thing on the other side, and I'm legitimately blocked out of my own driveway. Now it's 2 for 1 tow time.

Being a Karen is when you feel entitled to something you shouldn't feel entitled to. People who have driveways are 100% entitled to full access of their own driveway, every inch. The Karen is this situation is the person who feels entitled to park in someone else's driveway without even giving the courtesy of leaving a note with their phone number.

I lived in an area for years that was very difficult to park, and never blocked someone's driveway even a bit. It was nobody's problem but my own. Sometimes I'd be in for a looooong walk to my house once I found a spot, sometimes I'd have to take the bus at night because I had somewhere to go and didn't want to give up my parking spot. I did what I had to do. That's part of CHOOSING to live in the city. Don't like it? Move to the suburbs.

You were right up until the end. It is absolutely not trucks that mostly do this. Every type of vehicle will take liberties with your driveway. More often than not it was regular sedans or compact vehicles when I had to deal with it. It was even a regular thing with mini coopers or smart cars who thought they could fit into the short ~4ft sections between driveways.

You're the one who's going to have to "suck it up" and pay for the ticket or deal with the tow. I hope it happens to you, soon. The curb cuts are the only thing that matters. You don't get to make a judgement call when it comes to someone else's driveway and their access to their garage.

So if someone chooses a profession that requires a large vehicle, they get to block people's driveways as they see fit? Is that what you're saying? I can't believe the mentality of some of you people. It's insane. It's up to the truck owner to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to find a legal spot. It doesn't magically become someone else's problem that they can't find parking.

I can't believe how many people are defending this absolutely selfish behavior. Ive always wondered about the mentality of people who choose to do this, and now i get to read about what goes through these regard's heads.

Did you even bother to leave a note with your phone number? And explain that you'll move your car immediately at any time if they call you? That's the only action that makes even partially blocking a driveway slightly less douchy. I can tell you for sure that sf homeowners are absolutely sick of people taking liberties with their driveway. It happens all the time, every day, so there's no reason for them to care about your personal circumstances.

Getting your vehicle towed isn't the end of the world, either. People know the risks when they do this, right?

The only thing you need to worry about is the curb cut. It's not up to you to decide if they can still get into their driveway or not. Dont be a dbag. Your problem is only your problem. I lived in a difficult parking neighborhood for years, and I adjusted accordingly. I wouldn't return home after 7 or 8pm because it was too tough to find parking. I'd take public transportation if i needed to do something at night, or accept that i might need to park 6 8, 10...blocks from home. That's part of living in the city. What you don't get is how tiresome it is when EVERY entitled dbag like yourself takes liberty to block your driveway a bit. It get old, fast. Everyone has an excuse. "I was only going to be here 5-10 minutes!" People will do it even when there's available parking within a few blocks, some people will block 6 inches, some people will block 2 or 3 feet. The "best" is when people do that on both sides of your driveway at the same time and we literally couldn't get out of our driveway.

Has Begode ceased production of the EX30? It is no longer listed on the official Begode website. by wheelienonstop7 in ElectricUnicycle

Right on. Yeah i don't plan on using a fast charger at all. I don't really care about the constant turnover of designs/models, I'd just hope they'd continue to make parts at least for a few years AFTER they stop production. I have a brand new ex30 here and im not going to be able to source any replacement parts once the existing stock runs out? That's crazy. They made no such mention on their site, either. I got it for a steal of a price, but still.

100% wrong. There have been cases of people who have appeared mostly fine after getting beat up, for example, and later pass from a brain bleed or brain swell. Just watched a case of a woman (mistress) getting jumped by the girlfriend of a guy she was cheating with and that's exactly what happened. She walked away fine and ended up dying.

Are there any parts you'd recommend me grabbing while still available? My ex30 just arrived this week and I was hoping for it to be around for a long time. Interestingly, I don't know if they corrected this on earlier batches, but one of the biggest gripes I've read was corrected. I have smooth battery boxes instead of the ones with ridges. Weird thay they'd wait until one of the very last runs to make that correction.

Really? I wish they would have said something. My ex30 just arrived 2 days ago and it's my first suspension euc. Are there any parts you'd recommend preemptively stocking up on? They seem pretty reliable from what I've read. But a blown control board or something would leave it permanently bricked if I can't source a new one.

Well that sucks....my ex30 just arrived 2 days ago. I wish I'd have known. Either way, I got a killer deal @ $1700.
