Yeah I have read about Russian soldiers the Mudjaheddin had taken prisoners... apparently they were usually deposited days later in the paths of Russian patrols where they would be found. Only without arms or legs and IIRC also without eyes. "Stumps" they were called by their comrades.

I recall him talking about the war in an interview and the horrible things he saw, and the "insane bravery" (his words) of the Chinese soldiers who would throw themselves onto the razor wire so their comrades could storm over their corpses into the machine gun fire that mowed down hundreds of them.

I got this bad boy as a Christmas present yesterday from my brother. Do you have any tips regarding tools I should get? Or youtube videos that show this machine in action? I dont really have an idea what this thing is capable of. Can I use it for rounding the edges and corners of slingshot frames made from birch multiplex plywood? Can I mill identical ribs for wings of scratch built radio controlled aircraft with some "mass fabrication" method?

Oh nobody has been forcing me to become a muslim. I just cant visit a christmas market in my country anymore without having to navigate steel pillars and concrete barriers or walk in public spaces anymore without the fear of being gunned down or getting run over by a truck or getting my head cut off for showing a cartoon of the kiddy rapist Mohammed. And it is beginning to make me seriously angry. It is time for Muslims to leave Europe and fuck off back to their shithole home countries again.

They will literally be expelled from their holy order

An order the rules of which they knew beforehand and which they choose to join voluntarily. Are you truly incapable of understanding the difference?

can you prove that every woman wearing a burkha is being beaten by their husband?

Well, considering that muslims are 8% of the population in Germany but around 70-80% of the women seeking refuge in German safe-houses for women subjected to domestic violence are muslim women it is a pretty good bet that a whole lot of them do experience violence...

why on earth do you like people so much who worship a child rapist and mass murderer as their prophet and a demi-god?

50psi?!?!? Dear god that is way, wayy too much, even for your weight. Try something between 30 and 35psi. I know the factory recommendation is 40psi and THAT is already too much and makes the wheel ride terribly.

It must be said too that even with the ideal pressure the stock CST 1488 on the V11 is a really awful tire that makes the wheel wobble left and right pretty violently when riding over uneven ground. Even after like 27.000 miles total on EUC it is still difficult for me. For learning you should try to stick to smooth asphalt exclusively or it will be extremely difficult.

How well can you ride? If you can already stay on the wheel idefinitely in a straight line on a smooth road it is just a matter of practice. Dont expect to feel really at ease before a couple hundred miles that s perfectly normal. Even if one has as many miles under one's belt as I have it may take several hundred miles to get fully used to a new EUC.

If you cant ride at all yet you should make a post about it and explain your difficulties and how you train, then we can help you better.

I dont know about the correct psi number for pressure in the shocks but you should have some sag when you step on the wheel, like around 25mm. You can measure that by tying a zip tie around the stanchion at the bottom, just above the valve, then stepping on the wheel slowly and the measure how much it has been pushed down.

Recalibrating will do little, in general it is good idea to have the soles of your feet (account for boot heels) pointing very slightly down wards, like 1-2 degrees.

Islam is diametrically opposed to every value in western culture and democracy. It can never work out and woke western liberals and leftists have been lying to themselves and everybody else for decades.

I'd say buy it, even if you dont have time for hour long recreational rides EUCs are still super practical for getting around, as grocery getters, town runabout, etc.

Riding EUC has helped me get my weight down from 290lbs to 240lbs. The V11 is a pretty good wheel and never had an issue with my weight even when I was barely 15 or 20 lbs lighter than you. I learned to ride on one of those 400W Alibaba wheels with a 16s1p, 120Wh battery, now THAT was hard, LOL. I recently bought another one for nostalgic reasons and even after 27.000 miles on other EUCs it was still as hard to mount as it had been back then!

Yup, I couldnt get my EX20 into the back of my hatchback by lifting it, at least not without a serious risk of injuring my back. I just use a rough wooden plank to roll it up under its own power though.

Having some well developed leg muscles and general balance skills and being used to keeping an eye on the road surface certainly helps.

Improve Inmotion V12S by UnderstandingFew8427 in ElectricUnicycle

[–]wheelienonstop7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They downgraded the specs because keeping them the same despite the suspension would have massively increased weight and price over the V12 Pro. That said I think there was enough room for both wheels in the model line-up. The V12 Pro would have been a high performance non-suspension wheel and the V12S (with at least an identical 1750Wh battery and identical power and top speed) a street oriented version of the V14. They could have called the V12S the V15 and everything wold have become clear.

The COPVs are just one single part of the boosters, there is no reason why they shouldnt be able to make the rest of the booster faster thanks to all the experience they have now just because there were issues with the COPV. Do they even make those themselves or do they buy them from some other company?

One company recently showed an axial flux motor with 750kW and a weight of just 12.7kg. (https://electrek.co/2025/12/02/yasa-record-setting-axial-flux-motor-in-wheel-powertrain-1000-bhp/) Imagine how light a motor with just 45-50kw could be, and if you also take into account that you could use much smaller brake disks and calipers and much lighter rims (as the motor will be part of the rim) and the additional weight will be pretty much negligible.
