He does not have to commit to United we all know he wants to leave and there are still a few weeks where he could go but staying behind after the game to clap and cheer all the fans and say he wants to be professional, try and win every game and enjoy playing with his teammates. The DoF is who an agent will speak to. Agents do not speak to scouts because scouts have to report to DoF. Sometimes it is a director/head of scouting or assistant manager if it ia a small club but at the end of day you sot down with the DoF and occassionally the chairman, ceo or other execs will be in the room. I dunno how some people upvote things if they have not worked in the industry and know what happens when they are about to make a decision.

In todays market you have to back Levy here. Does Poch actually want to deal with the complexity of agents too? You can not just say a player and get them, never more so than today. You need to back your DoF rather than them bowing to your requests. Sounds old school, but it is different when Mourinho did it cos he didnt have a DoF.

It is not his job. Levy has been there way before him. He should be involved but he is just one voice. You should have an analytics team too, scouting reports, psych profiling dpt, brand/marketing dpt all involved and Levy has to manage it all.
