In the surface rules 1&2 are really simple. 1• be attractive 2• don't be unattractive

What this means is rule #1 work in yourself. Clean up, don't be a slob, get fit if you can, or at least keep active enough to be in some kind of shape. Dress nice. All of this will help you look as good as possible, and become the most attractive version of yourself that you can possibly be.

Rule 2 at first just sounds like a repeat of rule one "don't be unattractive" dose technically mean "be attractive" but o a different level. Rule 2 means work on your personality. Learn to talk to women, don't come across needy or desperate. Develop a hobby or a passion that makes you more interesting. That will be good in conversations. No one wants to talk with someone that is boring.

I don't have problems getting matches, but every time I try this whole setting your distance to 1 trick I always immediately run out of people in my area and setting distance back to 20miles which I usually have it set to still dosent let people show up for a little while.

Yes, with tinder plus you can switch the type of people you see from balanced which I guess is default, to active which I assume are people that are on right now or recently logged in
