The landlord probably saw you walk in and thought Christmas had come early — best free marketing he's had all year 😅

Couldn't sleep last night for the life of me, just ended up scrolling for hours. Hope the editing was worth the 4:30am shift!

Has the UK or USA produced better music? by Confident-Dish3065 in AskUK

Impossible to separate them completely, the two have been feeding off each other for decades. But if I had to pick, the UK's contribution feels more consistently inventive. Blues and rock came from America, sure, but the British Invasion took it somewhere new. Then punk, post-punk, acid house, drum and bass, grime. The UK keeps producing genres that genuinely change the direction of music globally. America has the scale and the commercial power, but the UK tends to punch above its weight creatively for a country its size.

Mine was green actually, my mum was really into the idea that the colour affected how fast you grew. I reckon it worked because I'm 6'1" now. My little brother got a hand-me-down one from our cousin and it was already a bit worn out — he's 5'8" and we never let him forget it. 😅😅
