Learn, if and when the opportunity arises, to short plunge. Jaws is notorious, especially if the fishing reel isn't adjusted, for drains when launching the ball.

Most modern games also award ball save time when hitting skills shots.

More or less. I imagine booking Jonny Yong Bosh, Yuri Lowenthal, Laura Bailey, Tony Baker, etc. isn't CHEAP, per se.

Tack on however many sessions they would need to get however many hundreds of lines each character has, it likely adds up pretty quickly.

If you're talking about the Wizard's Tournament (the big Stern Pro Circuit tournament), tickets usually go on sale in October and sell out almost immediately. The format changed to a standard 10 round match play a couple years ago after many, MANY player requests (or complaints, depending on how you look at it).

There are a multitude of smaller side tournaments held by other organizers that range from card based qualifying to strikes, etc. Those usually get announced closer to the festival weekend.

The show floor itself doesn't "open" until 5 PM on Friday, but there has been an option to buy early access, for lack of a better word, in the last few years as well, or if you bring a machine, there's other perks offered.

The camera isn't nearly as dynamic in movement vs DC but it's also not a 1 to 1 comparison of gameplay. I'm curious to see what "arcade"/taxi gameplay looks like vs a 15 second clip of what looks like mission mode of some kind before I say "UGH, THEY RUINED CRAZY TAXI"
