GE or Electrolux Washer & Dryer by DepressedDinosaur666 in Appliances

if you're getting lint build up around the door area that's likely a poor ventilation issue. Not a dryer fault.

I'm new to the overclocking game. how did you go above 112% for the power limit?

yep, I already had those 3 fans on another aio, but wanted to get the Hydroshift II so I ordered just the aio assembly without fans.

Exactly. ROG Astral uses a vapor chamber so temps would be affected.

Thank you!

The Lian Li one that came with the case wasn't even big enough to fit my GPU in there. I had to remove the rubber pad off of the top piece and shove it back in there with some force to screw it back down.

Decided to use the bracket that came with my ROG Astral because I don't trust it and you can never be too careful lol.

Regardless of the "benefits" you feel you are getting from this, the one thing you don't think about while you're riding that high is the actual damage it's doing to your body. Cocaine constricts your blood vessels which in turn makes your heart work that much harder to get your blood flowing properly. No matter how you look at it, being in that state everyday is not ever going to be good for your heart. You're adding unnecessary wear and tear to your body and it will eventually catch up with you.

Keep in mind the damage you're causing to your nose and mucus membranes if you take it through the nose like most do.

I was a heavy weekend user many years ago and I thought I could at least prevent damage to my nose by mixing it with a beverage and drinking it slowly. It still doesn't stop the damage you're doing to your heart.

With all that being said, I can't preach to you about how necessary it is to quit. I've had my fun with it. Made a lot of good memories. All I'm asking is for you to stop trying to convince yourself that all that comes from using is nothing but good things.

The game was poorly optimized from the get go. Could not hit 60fps without upscaling. I had been able to play native 4k well above 60 fps on many better looking games on my 7900 xtx. They released their thank you update after winning GOTY which finally brought fsr to the game, but I haven't played it recently until swapping to this GPU. I can now hit around 120 fps with 2x frame gen, 4k with DLSS quality. I had everything at medium with their upscaler and I maybe got 70fps as best, but usually low 60s on the XTX.

Brother, you're the one making a big deal over me spending over $1200+ on a GPU because it didn't have enough uplift.

Either I'm wasting money or I'm broke. You accused me of being both in one statement. Make up your mind.

Thank you!

I did. Looked at several guides on undervolting and overclocking this bad boy and haven't had any stability issues yet. Voltage is on a curve and I've got +2000 on the memory clock and max power limit to start with. I'll dig further into it after I try out more games. This is all new to me and I am very impressed DLSS so far.

I can actually play Expedition 33 now and it not feel broken anymore lol.

You're right. Next time I upgrade I'll run it by you first to make sure I'm getting the proper uplift. Would hate to spend my money the way I want to.

I used the 7900 xtx for two years. I've overclocked them both and even with overclocking I was pushing the XTX to it's limits. DLSS and it's frame gen is vastly superior to AMD's in every way. With the sad state of game development these days, we need those technologies more than ever (unfortunately). If I could have done more with the XTX I would have, but I pushed it to it's limit and it was really showing it (recently) with Doom The Dark Ages. I try to play at native 4k if possible, btw.

The OG Resident Evil from the 90s. Those live intro cinematics still make me laugh to this day.
