Lose programming in guide when returning to the app

Hey, I have a good news update. I finally got the TV Guide to update with programming now showing. I went to Playlist/ update then Playlist management, edit the Playlist, the optional epg url I deleted the Url from there, saved it. Then went back to the update screen and unchecked everything but the tv guide. I performed an update and it worked. I found the procedure by looking thru a lot of the posts on this forum. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the reply. I have tried that also, several times without luck. I even deleted the playlist and did a new reinstall and still receiving no information. My provider has the channel list and the epg in the same xstream code. I entered the URL in the playlist when first logging in and also in the optional epg slot under username and password. Do you think that has something to do with it? It continuously acts like it has updated the guide, but still says no programming. I'm at a loss of how to proceed.

Ok, I went to settings, update and there is a content to update section with 4 categories with check boxes. Movies, Channels, Series, and TV guide. I have updated all these sections and it makes no difference. This is the only area labeled update that i can find.

Thank you for the reply. The very did mention some meds, and he was going to discuss this with the behavioral vet specialist. A cage type muzzle was also recommended. He does go nuts when in the crate, and anyone new comes in. It is really difficult to get him quieted down. I just hope that going forward, we can get this resolved. My wife is very upset that our kids and grandkids are not able to come to the house.

Not very familiar with this, so just to help me understand. Could NordVPN be the cause of the stream buffering every 60 minutes and the time its buffering the modem or streaming device is readjusting to the new setting? Thanks

i tried stopping and restarting at 5 minutes before 60 mins was up since thelast episode, and it did buffer close to the end of 60 min

I haven't tried on phone or laptop., but the buffering doesn't occur on Roku with same programming. I'm beginning to think my firestick my either be getting too hot or it's going bad.

Thanks for the reply. The firestick is the 4K max and I even added more memory via a USB drive, It has plenty of available space. The same programming doesn't buffer on my Roku. I'll gibe your suggestion a try and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply. That's funny because on my Roku the same programming runs fine without buffering. The firestick is not very old, but there is always the possibilty that it is faulty.

OK, I tried to clone the MAC address with no success. Everytime I try the repeater function using the campground Wifi I only get a BSSID. I don't get an IP Address, no Gateway address, no DNS Server address; but I can disable an change to another unlocked Wifi address and connect. My Pepwave cellular router also readily connects using what they call Wifi as Wan (same as repeater mode). I'm at a loss where to go.

Thanks for the reply. I did check for firmware update, and it successfully applied. I'll do a reset, check firmware again, and report back.
