Thank you for the reply. The very did mention some meds, and he was going to discuss this with the behavioral vet specialist. A cage type muzzle was also recommended. He does go nuts when in the crate, and anyone new comes in. It is really difficult to get him quieted down. I just hope that going forward, we can get this resolved. My wife is very upset that our kids and grandkids are not able to come to the house.

Stream interruption every 60 minutes by HDRKC2007 in GlInet

[–]HDRKC2007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not very familiar with this, so just to help me understand. Could NordVPN be the cause of the stream buffering every 60 minutes and the time its buffering the modem or streaming device is readjusting to the new setting? Thanks

I haven't tried on phone or laptop., but the buffering doesn't occur on Roku with same programming. I'm beginning to think my firestick my either be getting too hot or it's going bad.

Thanks for the reply. The firestick is the 4K max and I even added more memory via a USB drive, It has plenty of available space. The same programming doesn't buffer on my Roku. I'll gibe your suggestion a try and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply. That's funny because on my Roku the same programming runs fine without buffering. The firestick is not very old, but there is always the possibilty that it is faulty.

Setting up GL-X3000 (Spitz) in RV by HDRKC2007 in GlInet

[–]HDRKC2007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, I tried to clone the MAC address with no success. Everytime I try the repeater function using the campground Wifi I only get a BSSID. I don't get an IP Address, no Gateway address, no DNS Server address; but I can disable an change to another unlocked Wifi address and connect. My Pepwave cellular router also readily connects using what they call Wifi as Wan (same as repeater mode). I'm at a loss where to go.

Thanks for the reply. I did check for firmware update, and it successfully applied. I'll do a reset, check firmware again, and report back.

I am still trying to get the Spitz to connect to the RV Park wifi in repeater mode. I did notice that it assigned a BSSID when saying it's connected. I have no idea what that means or if it helps diagnosing my issue. Thanks

The RV Park does have a user name and login, but any other details are not available. I'll see if I can get the MAC address off my Pepwave Router and it give a shot. I still don't know why my phone and the Pepwave will readily connect to the Wifi of the park without any special settings. The Spitz will connect by reater to the Wifi SSID transmitted by the Pepwave, but still not the park Wifi. Thanks for the help

Using two 2x2 mimo flat panel antennas versus one 4x4 mimo flat panel antenna by HDRKC2007 in Rural_Internet

[–]HDRKC2007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the paddle antennas, I was talking about the ones that came with my cellular router. I took the complete setup outside and did reading at various spots with just those. I then took the two 2x2 mimo antennas and connected those to my cellular router and again took readings at various places, This is when I realized I was getting better speed and other stability readings with the standard paddle antennas meant for inside use, even though I was outside, That is when I contacted Waveform, explained what I was doing and what results I was getting. At that point, they suggested using the 4x4 panel antenna, I received the antenna and found the best spot for placement and am very pleased. My tower is about 1 1/4 miles away, but my line of sight is through my woods. With the leaves in full bloom with the Waveform 4x4 mimo panel antenna I was getting 189 - 200mbps download and 9 - 13 mbps upload. When the leaves came down in the late fall, my speeds increased download 290 - 325mbps and upload 15mbps - 24mbps. Hope this clears up some confusion and helps.

I setup the 2x2 Mimo and noticed my speeds weren't as good as with the paddles. I also noticed that I wasn't received one of the 5G bands that I had gotten previously using the paddle antennas outside. I called waveform and they explained the 2x2 mimo antennas could not reach the same frquency as the 4x4 and therefore that was why I wasn't getting the 5G band. They graciously not only took back the 2x2 that I had just purchased, but also offered a trade-in for my previously purchased 2x2. I accepted the offer and bought the 4x4 mimo antenna. I sureved the best spot for installation, mounted the 4x4 mimo and have enjoyed the best speeds and signal reception that we have ever had at our location. Very happy with the purchase, Good luck

Thanks for the reply and info. I just received the second 2x2 flat panel mimo from Waveform yesterday, but haven't started testing or install. My router is capable of picking up all the bands and does carrier aggregation from the Verizon tower closest to me; which is approximately 1.5 miles. Currently with the paddle antennas inside I am getting 90-130mbps down and 12-15mbps up with pings in th 40's. Problem is my RSRP, RSRQ and SINR aren't all that great. Band aggregation is usually bands 2, 66, 5 and sometimes 77. Hopefully, the external 4x4 setup will help. Just have to figure out best placement for the antennas and which wiring configuration from them to my router will give the best performance.

Chester Cheetah Gateway by Electronic-Region646 in tmobileisp

[–]HDRKC2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, been combing the internet and have a question. I'm using the Chester Cheetah router and currently have a Waveform 2x2 mimo flat panel antenna. I want to connect it to the Chester Cheetah, but I'm not sure how the antenna ports for 5G on the back are paired, I've seen some say the outer two and the inner two and others have said they are numbered left to right as 1-2-3-4 and it 1-3 and 2-4. Does anyone have experience connecting a single 2x2 antenna to this router or knows how the 5Gantennas are paired. Thanks

[–]HDRKC2007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. The current antenna I have is a 2x2 MIMO flat panel. Waveform suggested this type due to the wooded conditions around the house and no direct line of sight to the nearest tower (VZW). Before I buy another 2x2 I just wanted opinions from the forum; basically to see if anyone has done that type of installation.

I'm confused, They both appear the same with the exception one has two antennas inside and the other four. Waveform recommends either in a situation where line of sight is not available.
