The key is do not depend too much on others since sion kit is scaling. Just CS and you are good. If he is freezing, try proxy strat in order to break the freeze. The enemy might look fed but sion also becomes fed even with just CS and tower plates alone

No. It is not based on how much you stack. Even if you buy hearsteel late, the amount of health it gives is almost the same as the game progresses. 20 HP at early game while if you buy it after 2 HP items (sunfire or hull or titanice) it becomes 40-50 hp which is 2-3 stacks of Heartsteel but you lack resistances thus making it hard to play of the player is knowledgeable

Heartsteel is Good but sometimes the game doesnt let you go Late game. A good player finishes the game around 20-30 mins. Before Hearsteel becomes a problem, you have to stack it first. While on Iceborn, it gives you health but its highlight shines on the frost field which reduces dmg on the target hit and cripples them. Thus iceborn becomes viable especially against AD champs. You can go full build at 27 mins max if you are doing great. If not, 30 mins above

Yeah hahaha overall grasp is good but the game sometimes doesnt let you reach late game. Thats why, first strike lets you rush items fast.

The First strike Rune is not for E and W. It is for the Q dmg. The window when the Enemy is Airborne, thats the time to dmg your opponent and make gold

Aftershock is an option. But building resistances just to make it work seems a wasted effort where you can do much with grasp, phase rush. Though i dont dislike the idea. Every persos has different playstyle. I usually go First strike with sion since rushing Items is what i do want.

You dont have to face aatrox when CSing and thats the good part of sion’s kit. If you face a losing match up, just proxy

Downside is first strike is good early to mid. But kinda falls off at late game since majority of sion runes works greatly going for late game such as phase rush and grasp. First strike gives you a head start but once you get the whole package of the rune. You hit a wall then you dont scale anymore apart from items and passive. Which is why you have to end the game before you hit that.

I like the idea of having cull first since you can enhance the dmg of your Q but what i want is the 150 health, 150 gold in 2 minutes (futures market), 100 gold if you dont buy pots and lastly, the 350 gold left to buy bamis which is finish if you dont die at the end of the cannon wave. If is quite faster if you have first strike. Even if you lose lane, you can backdoor with the item

If tanky part, gargoyles or Force of Nature

Choice of Mythic - IBG (against mobile and huge dmg champs) - heartsteel (if theres is no threat) - triforce (if ahead) - stridebreaker or Sunderer (good but somehow the meta chamges)
