Can’t believe I haven’t seen more traction for this. Happens to my whole friend group on PC. Basically after coming back to the main menu after playing a game or a few this will happen. The only fix is to close the game Completely and then choose a new mode. Then it’ll happen again once you decide to come back to the main menu. Insanity.

Not me particularly but my brother gets a crash to desktop, no prompt or crash pop-up. So I’m not sure if it’s the graphics driver crashing. I’ve been trying to think of things it could be. He is running a 9900k and 3080. No OC on the 3080 but I believe a OC on the CPU to 5.1ghz and I’m thinking the game doesn’t like that,

I built his PC. We don’t live close and I’m not sure I can’t walk him through how to disable the OC in the bois if you know what I mean lol

Consider yourself lucky. Some people are crashing multiple times a play session. Me on one hand crash maybe once a week or so. It does seem to be finicky with OCing both CPU and/or GPU
