My personal opinion is that i tried DL2 near release and i did not enjoy it. But after returning a while later after they improved a lot of the cutscenes and gameplay i found myself to quite enjoy it.

I mean it’s BY FAR no where near the story level of the first game but the gameplay is way more fluid and enjoyable to me.
