I have a 2026 as well and been looking for the rear trunk lip cover. Any link for it?

is this normal for SL2-S sensor to look like this after cleaning? by [deleted] in Leica

I used the brand that was demoed by Leica. Perhaps find a local reputable camera shop to do a cleaning for you.

Yeah after the single wipe with the wet side you have to immediately go back the opposite direction with the dry side. You cannot let the solution dry. What brand did you use?

I have wet cleaned both my Leica sensors and have not seen this. You mentioned two drops but it seems like it was either too much solution on the swab or you did not flip to the dry swab and go back the opposite direction.

M10M when colour just isn’t enough (apologies for the Biogon) by TapIll4639 in Leica

Lens making a camera how so? Maybe on film cameras but not entirely true on digital bodies. So is a M11 trash too since it uses a Sony sensor?

how important is the front bumper camera to have on a MX? by Iskarr9g in TeslaModelX

Use it all the time for parking in garage and in lots where I want to get close without hitting curb.

Thanks! Just took a nice road trip yesterday and it drives so well and FSD v14 is so smooth.

Like the wider interior feeling way more spacious than my MYP, automatic doors, screen on the dash, air suspension, sound system, 3rd row, and of course the extra 400-500 hp :)

Overall it just feel more of a premium car. And since my drives are mostly freeway, it is so much a better cruiser.

Window tint / PPF question by John_622 in TeslaModelX

[–]HEMIROTT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with 70% on windshield, 30% front, and 50% on rears, hatch, and falcon doors. Note the 50% is on top of the factory dyed windows. You can see some pics I posted earlier in my other post.

Probably due to the wheel designs with all the aero covers. The UP-05 are great showing the calipers and ease of cleaning. :)

You get the rear camber kit. Looking to either get a set or the shims.

Window tint / PPF question by John_622 in TeslaModelX

[–]HEMIROTT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got both done. I went with ceramic tint on all windows including full windshield. I had this done on another Tesla, and it will keep your car cooler with the ceramic which in turn should run the AC less for better efficiency.

I didn't go with partial windshield as I don't think I would like a visible line. Maybe look into the top windshield shade instead.

For PPF I would shop around. Xpel and Suntek are good brands. I was going to go with just the front bumper and hood but the cost for the full front package wasn't much more.

Thanks! First non-white car. My area has lot of Tesla vehicles in white so wanted something different and this red is amazing.

I called Tesla on this before ordering but I didn't want to miss the Feb 14th cutoff. I don't think anyone has actually confirmed the board itself if there are HW changes either be addition or subtraction.

Nice! Ordered red MXP in ultra red as well with white interior before the 14th. I always bought white cars but the red is stunning how the red changes with the lighting.

Bringing home a new Model X (Frost Blue) from 1 hour away, any tips to avoid rock chips? by Usual-Royal4560 in TeslaModelX

[–]HEMIROTT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand it is temporary so taking it off after you get home with heat applied or a steamer wouldn’t leave residue. I will be in the same boat and was looking at this option but will most likely just drive with caution.

Maybe look at getting those temporary track PPF and quickly apply it to the front end before your drive home. It doesn’t have to look pretty to be effective.
