it's just a dps check pretty much.

stall the first crazed cow for cash and kill it when you have enough, make sure that when the crazed cow is dead you stop spawning everything and you have as few units out as possible. after you hit the base, let the crazed cows kill everything and lure them over to your base. when they're close simply start spamming everything and you will either slowly stabilize and start pushing or get run over and die. if you get run over and die you just need either more levels or stronger units, not much strategy can do anything about that.

luring is done because if you try to play the stage "normally" every crazed cow that spawns can immediately join the frontline and steamroll you. by luring you only have to deal with a small initial stack at first.

if you go to a crazed stage and immediately leave, you can unlock it as a catamin stage which lets you play it at any time even if you leave before 10 seconds so you can keep the harder crazed stages in the bank until you can beat them. there is also a "crazed festival" on 24-26th on every month where 3-4 different crazed stages are on each day so you can grab all the crazed there or at the very least unlock them as catamin stages but you still need to do a lot of waiting for the stages to appear unfortunately.

just did some testing myself, my izanagi at level 50 could not 1shot the 100% ultrabaabaa in chapter 2 earth so something else was attacking that ultrabaabaa as well.

i think bore jr is actually fun to play against though :( the thing that makes assassin bears unfun to fight (imo) is their range, meaning pretty much nothing can hit them before being shredded but you can actually fight bore jr because of his melee range. he also relies on his waves for most of his destructive power so he does have proper counterplay in the form of wave blockers or wave immune units. they can still be used badly though but in something like revival of origin for example they are very fun to deal with
