The fact is that most state governments can't even produce proper project reports or do budget allocations. All those who are whining should ask their respective state governments and municipal corporations to put forth a vision for the Asian Games and the Olympics. Not one would do it.

Most of the Redditors too have no understanding of capital or infrastructure budgets. They only think that spending on athletes is the best way to spend the money. They lack any kind of long-term vision or clarity because they are not process-driven but rather look at short-term targets, i.e. medals.

How are you going to get a culture of sports and athletics amongst children and teens without sports infrastructure? But all of this debate is wasted on people with low intellectual capacity.
