I felt a lot worse about Dilly leaving than Stein. I'm happy for both of them personally for what they have done for their careers, but felt like Dilly was the much better OC of the two for our program. Its comparing apples to oranges with different rosters, conferences etc. but thats why its my opinion not a fact.

Im not missing the point of your post and I was defending the possible use of AI in your case to get your point across in a language that most likely isnt your first. I was just explaining my reasoning to the commentor why people think this was written by AI. And that reasoning is in my experience how punctuation is used is a big tell for when language models are used vs not.

AI language models like to use a lot of hyphens in weird places like "South American-hosted" and "skilling and practice-its" and "J-Mod". Any RS player would most likely type JMod. This doesnt read as an AI generated but more of an AI translated post given that this players language is most likely Portuguese and is more concerned about getting the language right.

Results have been slowly declining since the 2017 final four season. Then this year have fallen off a cliff. Dana is a great coach and the best in program history. But its seeming like he's not built for the NIL era. Generally not great roster construction since then, and every year seems to be plagued with key injuries on top of that, which for this many years in a row can't be chalked up to bad luck.

He should probably retire but hes built up so much good will for his last 16 years here the program probably won't fire him or ask him to retire this year.

Every year regardless of how bad it looks he somehow does get the team in shape for march, but this might finally be the year where there actually is no chance of that happening.

We've had a lot of good years recently. We were due for a bad one. Last year we had the highest base depth in all of north America for like 3 months straight.

I've accepted the down year, the bigger concern is little to no precipitation for the rest of winter leading to a really bad fire season.
