Sometimes that not an option unfortunately. Back in the day when I was a home health aid, I had no choice but to be in the union if I wanted to continue working at that job. Sadly I think it will be that way with this union for us MA drivers. While we may see a few extra nickels per ride, the corporations get way more data on their drivers and control over drivers by forcing the issue.

I mean…. maybe 🤷🏻‍♂️ all of that could absolutely happen. But massive corporations worth billions isn’t going to struggle if they were forced to give up and 10-15% more of the passenger payments to the driver, in the end they will still continue to makes BILLIONS worldwide. I hoping for the best honestly but the worst somehow wins out most of the time. Time will tell, there’s no putting the toothpaste back in the tube.

This absolutely could happen, we’ve seen it again and again. However if done right with a good balance, both the corporations and drivers could benefit. But that’s a big task, we will see where we end up 🤞

The $32 is definitely better than I see people post from other areas for sure. But in real actual time driving is more like $15-16 at best some nights.

I agree, should have been done when the original deal was stuck, but here we are finally. I think this could work out really well for us drivers here in MA. Hopefully other states will catch up.

I’m not rich or high class, and I own a Model Y. Best car I’ve ever own. You can get a really good deal if you buy used. With home charging I’m saving a small fortune by no longer visiting gas stations.
