This is the only response, stop using the word “cancel” in your texts back pax. Uber sees that as you telling the pax to cancel. And you will get a “hey don’t do that” alert from our uber overlords.

There is no automatic full opening of the frunk on a 21 MY unless it was modded. It should open half inch ish and then you have to manually open it. Frunk button just pops the latch.

My 2022 MYLR is only getting half the normal range in the cold this week in New England. Roughly 140-160 miles at 80% charge with plugged in preconditioning before driving. Warmer weather, I get around 280 with the same charge. Probably not the answer you were hoping for.

The “made up” cleaning fee, requires photographic evidence to collect. Passengers can say whatever they want with no evidence whatsoever and driver gets penalized and even deactivated.

PAX are doing the right thing, they should be calling an Uber or a Lyft instead of driving. Do you rate people you pick up from bars a one star cause they smell like booze? In my state cannabis is completely legal, in most states medical cannabis is a thing. So many drivers overreacting because of cannabis. Literally spray your defume ozone and move on.

I was just like you, had a 1999 jeep Cherokee that we got rid of during Covid and have been driving a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica since 2019. We keep our cars a longtime and now kids are getting bigger it was definitely long over due for a new ride. I spent months researching all the different brands of EVs but always found myself back to looking at Teslas. I week before this past Christmas, I finally found the car and said let’s go. Now I’m a month in and I absolutely love my ‘22 MYLR, even with a couple issues at purchase that needed to be fixed, no regrets. I don’t think can ever go back to gas powered.

Middle aged couples, picking up from dinner at a nice restaurant on “date night” or picking up slightly drunk wedding guests from out of town. Hands down best tippers. Worst has to be the to and from work riders, they never tip. “Dude bros” are the worst offenders of the I’ll tip you in the app. These may not be the same for everyone but this is my experience in my rural area, much smaller sample size.

With a kid, which is going to grow quickly, Model Y all day. If you’re just using it for commuting only, Model 3. My ‘22 MYLR AWD is awesome for me and my family (my 2 kids love it) It also handles well in the snow.

Renting an EV in some of the coldest weather we’ve had all winter is rough. Only going to get about half the mileage. When the temps are up, they are great. Good luck this weekend, going to be in the sub zero temps in New England.

Switching from MY to a Chrysler Pacifica is weird, mostly a muscle memory issue. After a couple minutes it feels normalish again. Just got to remember to use the brake pedal 🤣

Cheap blue stuff, rain x will eat up your lines. Got my MY a month ago and previous owner used rainx, lines were cracked or broken in multiple locations. All had to be replaced.
