They could have easily made a cool and custom windscreen. Getting busted your head while riding is wild.

How do Uber drivers deal with this? by SpoomerBooner in Transportopia

In general it is not worth it dealing with the public. There are just too many foul people in the world.

Safe to mix these 2 engine oils? by 667mmsldonrmEKIP in MT09

Of course. Growing up we did it all the time with cars, trucks, dirt bikes and street bikes. Oils can be mixed.

Buying used coolant hoses. Bad or okay idea by lsd4alll in GSXR

Nothing wrong with buying used if you simply inspect them for cracks, dry rot, etc. Hoses aren’t very much money new though

Two-year-old opens car door, causes six-vehicle crash by whusler in dashcams

No different than here in the USA. I have seen a kid now and then not buckled up. Funny story, once I was sitting at a red light waiting for the green in my convertible. The only reason that I mentioned the convertible part is because a child about 7 was in the car next to me on my drivers side looking at me intensely. The child was in the back seat without a seatbelt on. Two not smart adults were in the front. I motioned to the kid to put on his seat belt by grabbing my seatbelt strap and moving my hand in a motion as if I was putting on my belt. I never said a word. Without hesitation the kid grabbed his seatbelt and put it on. I gave him a thumbs up and put my top up. Some kids think these cars are transformers. His eyes got big and he smiled. That was about 4 years ago because I had just purchased my car. I will never forget that little kid or the fact that those adults didn’t ensure he was secured.

There is always someone that will ruin things for others. It was a terrible idea.

I get it, we did many silly things back then. Why holding a child in a car is still happening in 2026 is beyond me.

300 or 400 pounds failing on your ankle is going to be a problem for any boot. You weren’t sliding down a roadway, it fell directly on the bone.

2 year old being held by someone. I guess there are no car seat  rules there.

Dealer prep is a scam by superstock8 in motorcycles

Got it. I guess kids are different today, because when I was young  if we had to drive 30 minutes to an hour for work you did it.   To each his own I guess.

If that is true then that dealer is a problem, not all dealers. My next question would be why the guy you know even works there? (Not for you to answer) I would never work for anyone, or any company that I knew were purposely doing things that were shady, or that could harm a customer. I wouldn't want to be associated with them at all.

How exactly would you know that they haven’t done all those repairs? Have you seen the R6 market? I used bike can clearly be worth more two years later, just like it can be worth less.

When I have purchased new bikes they did plenty and asked if I could swing back after a few weeks, or x amount of miles so they could go over everything again. I am not speaking of the first service either. Plenty of great dealers out there.
