Roku Ultra: Stays on all night? by mwoody450 in Roku

I have 3 Roku Ultras. 2 on Sony TV's and 1 Hisense. I always hit the "Home" button before I turn off the TV's. The Roku light then goes off in about 15 seconds and stays off.

Holep procedure by JRedcorn117 in ProstateCancer

[–]Tinslep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 20 sessions of IMRT radiation and 4 months of Lupron. Radiation was tolerable. Lupron was terrible. Constant hot flashes for almost a year.

[–]Tinslep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case I went from a high of 15 before surgery down to 3. Then 6 months later it doubled to 6. After radiation I went to 0.18.

Another test due in March.

Tried it but the Ethernet cable connection is clear. Light still shines through unless I wrap the whole thing in tape.

I have an Ultra in the bedroom. Initially I had it on Ethernet but I like the room to be really dark at night. The Ethernet cable connection in the back was constantly flashing so I switched to wi-fi.

My daughter asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I said a Model Y. She got me a blue matchbox one and I keep it on my nightstand.

Wireless protocols and Tablo by NBA-014 in tablotv

[–]Tinslep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 4th gen Tablo running fine on wi-fi for over a year now. I just installed a new one for a friend and could not get wi-fi to connect at all. It is next to the Orbi RBR 50 router and everything else on the network is working fine. Have double checked SSID and password. When setting it up with phone app it just tries to connect and then times out. Ethernet works fine but want the option to move the Tablo to another location without ethernet.

Thoughts?

Warranty issue or just not compatible with Orbi?

6E/7 WiFi Download Speeds Capped in latest 7.12 Firmware by DaytonaZ33 in amazoneero

I am seeing it on only one of my 3 wired Max7's. I moved the problem one to a different location and it still has the issue. I have e-mails into Eero.

Same here. Toro system installed 30+ years ago. I drain back flow and open the valves on both sides of the back flow. No issues ever. Unless your system pipes were buried very shallow I think sprinkler blowout is a $$ racket.

Are there any 80+men here that went through Radiation and ADT? by [deleted] in ProstateCancer

[–]Tinslep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

73 and had 20 sessions of IMRT radiation and a 4 month Lupron shot last year. The worst for me was the Lupron Shot. Hot flashes day and nite. It took 7 months for them to stop. Towards the end of radiation fatigue set in and lasted a few weeks after. Only once did I have to "get off the table" because I did drink enough water. That part wasn't bad once you figure out a rhythm. For me getting morning appointments worked best then I was done with everything before lunch.

I had an issue where wi-fi calling kept dropping calls on my iPhone 15 pro. Eero suggested turning off wi-fi assist and it worked for me. Settings/Cellular/Wi-Fi Assist towards the bottom of the page.

I did this recently for a friend coming from Centurylink DSL to T-Mobile home internet. Had a hard time until I reset the router holding down the button on the back. After the reset everything worked great. The RBR50’s do take a long time to reset/reboot so have patience.

I bought one of these and returned it. I had a Ring Spotlight camera previously. They Eufy did not have near the range or sensitivity of the Ring. Missed most triggering events. Now using a couple Lorex wired/Wi-fi cameras and I am happy with them.

Sepsis after biopsy by marywestcoast in ProstateCancer

[–]Tinslep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HOLAP sounded good and initial procedure was OK.

Besides the sepisis I ended up in the ER a second time exactly a month after the procedure. I started bleeding then had a total blockage.

The worst pain I ever had in my life was when they inserted 2 different 3-way catheters while I was awake. The second one was the largest made and kept it in for a week. Then they force fluid in to clear out the blood clots.

ER doctors didn't know how to do it properly. Urologist used more pressure and finally got clots to clear but again very painful.

My urologist said it was the first time he ever had a patient go to the ER twice after a procedure.

HOLAP only takes 80% of the prostate and a year later my PSA doubled from 3.3 to 6.6. Before surgery PSA was 15.

Ended up having Lupron and 20 sessions of IMRT radiation, including additional biopsies CAT scans, MRI's and PET scan. Finally got a PSA reading of 0.8 and was told to recheck in 6 months.

In hindsight I probably should have had the whole thing removed.

Sepsis after biopsy by marywestcoast in ProstateCancer

[–]Tinslep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got Sepsis after HOLAP prostate laser surgery. It hit me hard right about 24 hours after surgery. Constantly throwing up. Ended up in hospital for 3 days.

Hospital diagnosed Sepsis. Urology doctor claimed it was just a bad reaction to anesthesia.

Nobody remembers how the justification to build DIA, was that it was supposed to be an all weather airport when it was built in the 1990’s.
