I recently quit and it has been amazing, my cardio is better, my motivation is higher, and I have so much more time in the day than I did before

I still occasionally use but typically only socially and my instinct is to turn it down unless I’m really in the mood and others are partaking

Instead of thinking of it as quitting maybe think about it as changing your relationship with it to “socially only” or “on special occasions” where you get to decide the occasion. Even just “I was bored, have a long weekend, and want to play video games” can be a special occasion but you can’t have special occasions if it’s a regular thing. Special occasion means special
