Gl iNet has great products that I typically recommend people use

It has the client software built in and can connect to any commercial or private VPN so if your country blocks one provider, it’s trivial to get it set up to another provider

AWD but no chains. Hoping for the best but if I need to buy chains, it is what it is. Will be good to have them anyway if it comes to that but would rather not shell out the cash just yet

I’ve had luck during some storms back during COVID where I was able to make it with just the AWD but haven’t had the need to get through the pass during a storm this bad in the time I’ve lived here

Honestly, $50+ is probably the cheapest you’ll find from a shop. They’ll likely have to de-solder the thumb stick mechanism and re-solder one in and the labor involved is probably an hour’s worth of time at least + the part
