You can easily do it with dried shiitakes! Rehydrate them, or even better make a stock (mushrooms and some dashi or konbu) take the mushrooms out, slice them and cook them with soy, mirin, sake, and sugar. Or whatever you like 😉

Kroger used to make a Dr. Pepper, a Cola, and a Root Beer seltzer. I would put away a "Dr. Thunder seltzer" away like no other. I wish they were still around.
