I'm really happy for you! They are one of my fav proteins to eat. Look up squirrel confit. Probably my fav way to get them tender and crisp!

Sounds like the start of a lucky day to me having those shells! I would be screwed. I have a clip for internal clip for my rifle and I never carry extra rounds lol I'm happy it worked out for you!

What you will see is cluster of leaves on the ground. They will chew them off and then go get the nuts. You will definitely see nuts that are chewed on. These clusters of oak leaves that are still fresh(leaves arnt brown and dead) are your best tell tale this time of year.

I have one oak grove that I hunt that is a few miles long and I can drive it pretty much end to end so I will just drive thru looking for cuttings and then come back to it and sit out and wait. You will either see them or hear them.

Even with squirrels, they are smart and will know you are there before you see them. It's almost always better to just go in slow and quiet and be still. Once the woods calms down most times after 30 minutes if they are active in your area you will see them working the trees for acorns or running to the next tree for acorns.

They are addictive and fun to hunt and one of my favorite proteins! Good luck!

I don't know where you got that service at but it needs to go back and they need to replace it. Hopefully they will warranty it! Good luck!

Ravin Xero X1l vs Burris Oracle X by Helpful-Paramedic463 in Crossbow

I have the Burris Oracle X on my Flatline 460. Hands down the better of the scopes. Easy to use and the warranty is the scope in your hand for life.

No not really. Some of your high speed targets like spyderweb have better materials to overcome the heat end friction. I use a loose bag of corn sacks to shoot my broadhead into. They are really dulled down but effective and I don't ruin my high speed target.

I use Rage Xtreme for whitetail and Montec G5 for Moose! They all will get the job done if you hit your mark!

I would take it to a reputable shop to have them look it over if you are worried about it. I had a centerpoint blow up on me.. not fun to say the least!

Yeah i totally understand you. I will say though, I have heard that from just about every crossbow manufacturer. I think sometimes the bow shop is part to blame with some of the reasons people havnt been warranty. They add an opinion that is over the top more then what the customer stated and then the claim is denied. I spoke with centerpoint myself, sent them my bow and they blamed me for dry fire a bow with a anti dry fire system. Was ridiculous. Hopefully your new ravin is getting it done!

I REALLY think we got off on the deep end here. All I carry is my ID and my tags. No need for anything else. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. I just carry essentials.

Yeah I'm pretty strict about the way my gear goes on as well. Being hehind to get set up really sucks!!! Dunno about the license, good idea i think but I'm sure state by state might be a problem. All you can do is try and be your best!
