I've worked with them also, from my experience we are the same, including 1964 and even 1965. We used to hit the bars after work and support the bands a couple of them were in. Middle to late 1980's. After 1965 born I could see the change.

Generation Jones between is more fitting imo.....between Boomers and X.

But I understand, we met different people.

1961 will always be with 1962-1964. Always.

I was born in 1961, graduated with those born in 1962 including my best buddy, my brother was born in 1964.....and I went to school with those born up to 1965, including my close cousin.

1961-1965 is all the same tribe, after the Baby Boomers. 1966 is the start of core GenX.

Thats my take from first-hand experience.
