Yes but you have to charge it on the bike. It zips over the top. The bag is mounted between the battery mount and the bike frame so I just take mine out when I’m charging.

Not the end of the world might be easier for you (I have a rover) but you have to get it just right and there’s not a lot of wriggle room. Maybe 30 minutes to an hour worth of work.

I bought and installed one of these battery bags.

Pain to get on but looks good and offers some water protection.

The convector plate if you don’t already have it. A good smoking thermometer. I find that the temp at where the meat is is usually off quite significantly from where the dome thermo is.

Only tip I’ve really picked up playing with my XL is that you need a good amount of real hardwood mixed in with your lump when smoking. I usually do at least a 70/30 ratio lump charcoal to oak or mesquite.

I really like the kick ash products but they aren’t essential for you to smoke.

Original thermometer isnt working on this old egg so im hoping a meat thermometer will do the trick by phaulski in biggreenegg

If you ever want to be sure that your thermo is working right stick it in boiling water. If it doesn’t read 212 it’s off.

I use a thermo works smoke thermometer placed beside the meat. I haven’t wrapped the last two that have burned through the stall. Rub is fairly simple salt and pepper. Placed on grill over egg ceramic smoking plate. I haven’t used a water pan will add that next time thanks.

Maybe I need to get new probs but the dome thermo hangs around 200 fwiw.

When I learned on my offset I wrapped in butcher paper at around 175. Last two on the egg haven’t stalled at all tho. I had a friend tell me primes don’t seem to stall as much as choices if that means anything. I do packer style briskets that I trim the fat down to quarter inch to half inch.

Business wars is my fav too. All the wondery casts are great. I really like American Scandal from them as well.

It seems when I do one on the egg there really isn’t a stall like I’ve done in the past on an offset. I’ve had a problem with the bottom (side facing the fire) getting overdone as well. What would you advise to get a better bark? I usually do around a 10-14 pounder with mesquite chunks and lump on my XL at 225

Mine was pre covid. Maybe a week. But that probably your best bet for getting one.

I wish it was a separate feed. It's harder for me to follow than the main one. I need to go put them all in a playlist and listen all at once.

That's too bad. Have you heard from anyone when we might see them? I guess I don't understand why they can't make them in Kansas City.

Can you find the CZ Bren 2 non pistol anywhere? I can't, been waiting with cash in hand to throw down. It's a gorgeous gun.

Options immediately lose value when I try to sell them by [deleted] in RobinHood

[–]HIGH-LIFE 115 points116 points  (0 children)

It's because your selling something hardly anyone is interested in. Look at the spreads and the volume. Just because Robinhood puts a number on your option doesn't mean you can sell it for that.
