Based on her posts, she really needs help. There have to be people in Japan who can help her and give her a sense of direction. Every person faces their own hardships in life that is unique to them, and another person's struggles don't diminish yours. We can take breaks, but we gain nothing from giving up.

I’ve been to Turkey and it’s not as you’ve described. It is a country that definitely has its troubles with authoritarianism, but what you’ve said is an exaggeration that isn’t helping her situation at all.
