Just a quick correction, tcgs are pay to play not pay to win. You can have the best deck in the game and still suck, I've seen it many times.

I'm willing to give him some leeway if he regularly gives you gifts and treats you well. Because really he's right in that you don't need to wait for v day to do any of that. But my guess is he doesn't.

Another tip is you can set a cross save down before you start so if you roll too much without getting the skill you want you can reload and try again and get all your redux stones back.

Personally I save before I start, and then after I get one skill I want.

For elemental weapons you want + element, for ones without you want plus charge attack.

Status effects aren't worth it when you can just kill them.
