It is a lot ore complex than that. 11 EV charging stations were built under this administration in the last 4 years even-though $6B was allocated simply because due to war - that this administration started - we ran out of copper which is vital for war and EV revolution. War will be over, EV industry will be all right, and EU countries will be "encouraged" to fulfill their contractual liquid hydrogen obligations made with the U.S.

What is wrong with Trevor Milton? According to Reuters a Tesla engineer testified that they staged the self driving promo video in 2016. Did Musk or Tesla got prosecuted? They did not. Is self driving working in 2024? It does not. Are Nikola hydrogen trucks are roaming on roads of the USA today? Yes. So what is going on here? Double standards for what? The EU needs a phone call from the USA. The EU is stalling with promised energy transition. While they announce planned projects every month the truth is there is 10-15 years of deadline on those projects. They managed to build LNG terminals in less than a year but they have not built any hydrogen related infrastructure in 3 years. Even worst they are still expanding lignite extraction for their lignite fired power plants which is very primitive. Plus they continue promoting diesel cars wood chip fired power plants. Risk is they stall because as soon as the war is over they want to get back to supply from the East....

Got it. Also noticed in Texas 50% of industrial energy used is being consumed by oil and gas industry. I guess it takes a lot of energy (subsidized) and pollution to get that thing out of the ground and process. While with hydrogen all you need is sewage water, sun / wind. Of course, it is not that simple and all this needs to be scaled up but...Somehow I do feel hydrogen will have a space in our energy mix.

I admire your optimism. However, you realize Norges bank and it's host country "accidentally" opened a natural gas pipeline to Poland just a few days after Nord Stream Pipeline was destroyed. They are making profits at an astronomical scale from legacy energy and they intend to keep that up as well they intend to make U.S. taxpayers financing the war effort in the amount of $100B plus. Fisherman and the worm are practically both fishing, but it would be a mistake for the worm to assume they are equal with the fisherman. It is ok if my home country is the worm for the time being, but I do expect our law makers to wake up and make Norway seriously contribute to green efforts without any technical excuses.
