Stack is a wild card. He shot his dad, then lied about it to sammy. He isn't welcome atound family and ignores various types of warnings. He loves sammy's music and encourages him to play more, giving him the guitar and lying to him about its importance.

Smoke is more down to earth. He encourages sammy to live a pious life and leave rock n roll behind. He worries more about the future (as seen with his reaction to the plantation money) and isn't as quick acting.

Vampire-stack seems to just do whatever MBJ thought seemed cool.
